Carole McCormick is the President of Greenbax Marketplace, Inc. (GBX), a fintech neobank specializing in providing financial services to cannabis operators across the United States. With over 30 years of experience in senior financial positions, her journey to this pivotal role began during her tenure as Chief Compliance Officer at North Bay Credit Union (NBCU).

During her time at NBCU, McCormick was entrusted with a transformative mission: to develop and expand the institution's cannabis banking program. Notably, NBCU was one of the first financial institutions dedicated to servicing the cannabis industry since 2017. McCormick's expertise and vision played a pivotal role in elevating the cannabis banking program to new heights nationally, culminating in the creation of Greenbax Marketplace, Inc.

McCormick's distinguished career as a Chief Operating Office for several national leading companies and dedication to creating solutions for the cannabis sector has solidified her position as a leading figure in the industry. Serving hundreds of cannabis operators across the country—with more every day—McCormick’s vast experience, combined with her visionary leadership, has reshaped the landscape of cannabis finance, bringing innovative solutions to the forefront. This includes solutions for day-to-day banking, a payment system called GBX Pay, and a proven cannabis compliance program unlike any other.

McCormick is a past President of Connections, a Northern California women’s organization. She has participated in several panels related to cannabis banking and the struggles of operators and will be a featured speaker at PBC Conference 2024. In the evolving world of cannabis finance, McCormick's contributions continue to shine as a beacon of professionalism and expertise.
