Jeff Rodgers is a Senior Attorney in the IRS Office of Chief Counsel’s Small Business/Self-Employed (SB/SE) Division, where he primarily litigates deficiency disputes in the Tax Court. Jeff also assists the Department of Justice Tax Division in litigating various collections- and/or refund-related suits. As a member of SB/SE’s marijuana cadre, he provides advice to examiners on marijuana-related issues. He is also a member of the digital assets/cryptocurrency cadre. Jeff joined Counsel in 2019 after graduating from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. In the evenings he teaches Undergraduate Law Review at USC and oversees publication of The Trojan Review, USC’s sole undergraduate law journal.
