Rebecca is a Managing Director in Crowe’s Accounting Advisory practice, specializing in financial reporting issues and the cannabis industry.  Prior to joining Crowe, Rebecca served as the Chief Accounting Officer one of the largest public cannabis companies.  Among her responsibilities were preparation and review of SEC filings, oversight of the accounting close, technical accounting, tax, treasury, accounts payable, and payroll.  She oversaw the purchase accounting and accounting integration for one of the industry’s largest acquisition transactions.  Rebecca managed the audit process and implemented an internal controls program.  Previously, she was the Corporate Controller for a multi-national industrial manufacturing and software company, responsible for financial reporting, technical accounting, audit management, benefit plans, and global treasury.  Rebecca’s experience in financial reporting and managing an accounting organization allow her to offer practical, relevant, advice and support to her clients.
